That crown is prickly…

Did you know a pineapple symbolizes a hospitable welcome? Just as pineapples thrive in the warmer months and continue growing during the cooler dormant seasons, so do we. So maybe it’s not actual seasons of the year of which we thrive and well…don’t, but surely different seasons in life. When life seems to be going right in all ways, or even most ways is it not easier to wear the crown for all to see? It’s the “dormant” seasons of life when we can feel the poke of that crown and it feels its heaviest and most difficult to wear. Those down days, months, or years is when putting that crown on and being all that it entails seems too heavy to stand under. That’s something I think we can all relate to.

That being said, you must first know that I’m a firm believer in His perfect timing. Although not always something I want to acknowledge at the moment, hindsight is 20/20. Wouldn’t life be easier if we all knew the reasons for events that had to be in order for a glorious outcome to follow? This blogging adventure has been in the making for what I imagine is longer than I’ve known, considering it’s taken this story of mine to get me to this point.
